Never tried a black background before.  Decided to give it a shot.  I think these came out rather nice.

We were honored to do a photo shoot for the "A Time Chinese Auction" .  Our model was chosen for the Welcome Page!

Here's a "pullback" of the lighting set-up for a "High Key Photo Shoot".
Major Equipment & Studio Supplies used:
White Paper - for the background
White Tile Board - for the floor
2 Bi-Fold Doors / Gobos - used to prevent the backlights from hitting back at the subject thus causing flare.
2 front lights
1 umbrella
1 soft box
2 back lights

So..... my daughter decided, she ain't so little anymore!  So she applied some make-up!  LOL!

My son was not to be left out of the action... so, in his coat & hat - minus shoes & socks.... he went about having a grand time on the floor.

Fun In The Studio

Little Shloimy has grown up quite a bit...... and though he loves to see all of the photography equipment, the meters, flashes, lights, props, camera etc.  he no longer likes to be photographed.  Oh well,  come what may he still makes us laugh.

with a bit of coaxing & promises of some good lollipops ( his favorite) after the session .... we finally got him to look at the camera.

     then he really started acting up & started dancing on the chair.  What a sight!

                

Summer Fun! Pool Fun! & Just a wee bit of photography thrown in..... - Outdoor Children's Photographer

We went to the mountains with our family.  Spent a most wonderful weekend together.  We took the kids swimming on Sunday & gave them a grand good time!  At the end we threw in a bit of photography.  They were none too pleased.

Love the images of kids in the water.  Looks so refreshing.

Little Shloimy ain't no little boy anymore.  The days of eagerly posing in front of the camera are long gone.   He's a big boy now!  Take a look at his hands in his pockets......

What a Devil!

This little boy used to love to pose for the camera.  Well, well, at this age.... to get him to sit still for more than a minute is asking way too much of him.

My little one just had to have a photography session yesterday (in his pajamas & all).  He was playing around with my light meter as if he really knew the F stops.  It was such fun watching him be a little photographer.

Lolly Pops! - Baby Portrait Photographer

This little one was so enthralled with his lolly pop, he wouldn't even look up at the camera.  Look at his pudgy little hands trying to open the lolly.

This little boy is so cooperative. He just loves sittiing in the chair.  You would think he's getting paid for it.  He's really really cute.
