THAT’S IT, BY TOMORROW MORNING…. IT’S GONE….., UPSHERIN SERIES PART 5

The long awaited day has finally arrived.  Tomorrow morning our little Shloimy turns 3 & with it….. his Upsherin.

In honor of his Upsherin we will be running a BIG SPECIAL.  Details to be posted….. after the Upsherin.

Tuesday

Another Beautiful Upsherin Boy - Brooklyn Portrait Photographer

What a BOY!!  This little one…. well his hair totally matched his character & he kind of cracked me up.  He’s adorable & was so willing to sit through the session… but no smiles from him.

Sunday

HURRICANE IRENE, THE AFTERMATH – ORANGE COUNTY, NY

Hurricane Irene caught me in Upstate – Orange County, NY .
Baruch Hashem we weren’t hit too bad.  The storm (rain) was massive & non-stop throughout the night, but by the time morning rolled around it had slowed to a steady rainfall… then trickled to a drizzle until it came to a complete stop.
Got some images of the rain falling, kids splashing in the puddles & just having a grand all around WET DAY.

Is it safe to go out yet?

Thursday

The Bridge Again, Some Different Angles - NY City & Landscape Photographer

Here are a couple more of the Brooklyn Bridge.  Enjoy looking.

SOMEONE IS ALMOST “3″ – UPSHERIN SERIES, PART 2

So we headed down to Prospect Park to get some pretty outdoor pictures of my little yingela.  Unfortunately for me, he was having none of it. From pointing to my other kids to have their picture taken, to looking away from the camera,  to making funny faces…….  He was absolutely not allowing his picture to be taken.   Guess we’ll have to try some other time again.

Monday

The Brooklyn Bridge & The View From High Up

Took a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge the other day.  The view from high up is really, really beautiful.  Check out some of these images of the Bridge & the view from there.

SUMMER… OUTDOORS…. GREENERY…. & SOME STUDIO AS WELL, BROOKLYN CHILDREN’S PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

Well ‘lil Malky is way past her one year session…… but what do you know, she just about started walking & her mother wanted to wait for that.
It was a scorcher of a day, so we ended up going back into the studio, at that point she was pretty much finished but we got some cute ones.

Friday

The Seaside, & The Beauty of Black & White

Took a trip down to the Southside SeaPort , in NYC.  What a beautiful place.  These images were so beautiful that I felt they called for B/W.  What do you think?

Wednesday

PSEUDO HDR – MANHATTAN, NY – CITYSCAPE STREET PHOTOGRAPHER

I’ve had some fun processing these two images.  I liked them so much, I felt they called for something different than my typical processing.
The first image is showing a beautiful artwork drawn onto a building.  The artwork is supposed to look so real, that it looks three dimensional.  Take a look at this “Tromp-l’oeil”

Manhattan, NY - Cityscape - Street Photographer

So, I’ve taken a real liking to street photography.  So many different moments & little things you can see.  Take a look here at the streets of our very own New York.

This picture was taken in a park called The High Line.  This was an old railroad track that was converted into a park.  The history of this park is really very very interesting, check it out here http://www.thehighline.org/.  The view from there to down below is really beautiful & the park itself is quite amazing.  Here’s one I got of anther photographer leaning down to get an image of the people sitting on the steps – soaking in the view of NYC.

An interesting little tidbit.

Sunday

Sukkos - Scenes from NYC

Just a couple of images from our chol hamoed adventures.

Can anyone guess what this is???  I thought it was pretty interesting.  It's the rain as seen through the subway window.    Cool HUH??

Street scene from NYC
We visited the NYPD Police Museum. These are all of the old telephones they used to use.
